My favorite property in Lisbon. Simply stunning hotel with caring staff and a terrific restaurant. - Great food, pastries, and meats. - Stunning and fantastic location - very close to Santos-o-Velho. - Found in a relatively quiet part of the town.

They served delicious pastries and meats. The room with large bathrooms. The hotel had indeed a great location in beautiful surroundings.
Though everything was great, some of the staff were so relaxed.

hotel is classic but beautiful. rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is a very quiet hotel and has several rooms where you can relax and have a coffee (you can have it at any time and without extra cost). library terrace is very nice and has a view over the Tajo. It is ideal for relaxing with a drink. Breakfast is buffet and is served on a beautiful terrace. quality is great, orange juice if you want you can squeeze it right away. They are constantly replenished so there is usually nothing missing and schedule is very extensive. Until 12. They have paid parking, although it is small and should be booked. There are also some restaurants nearby. We loved one that we recommended in the hotel, Raizes. In fact we repeat.
The only downside is that it's a bit far from the centre, although there's a bus stop right next door and they pass by often. By the way, if you go four ways, you'd better take a taxi, they're not expensive.

The location of this place next to Museu da Marioneta and the Museum of Ancient Art was fantastic and I appreciated having central heating, a safe, and a TV set in my room.

The entire experience is welcoming, in beautiful surroundings. It is a rare and warm experience to find an honesty bar in the library. Staff at all levels were pleasant and professional.
There was nothing at all that we didn't like.
